As a community organisation, MMVLLEN is committed to supporting young people who are having difficulty transitioning from school to further education or work by giving them the guidance, skills and opportunities they need to enter the next phase of their lives and career.
Brunswick Office: Sydney Road Community School
Sydney Road Community School (SRCS) is a small, progressive, government secondary school located in Brunswick. They believe all students have a right to access quality education at no cost. There are no school fees, uniforms or book lists and camps and excursions are provided free of charge, they also endeavour to provide a free hot meal to all students at recess to encourage healthy eating and encourage positive social behaviours.
Carlton North Office: North Carlton Railway Neighbourhood House – Learning Program
The North Carlton Railway House has a strong focus on supporting disadvantaged children in their neighbourhood, all of whom are marginalised on account of their families’ socioeconomic circumstances. They support the children in many ways, including an after-school learning club, a small group tutoring program run by volunteers, and organise (when funds allow) educational excursions in the school holidays.
Coburg Office: Coburg Special Development School
Coburg Special Development School provides a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes learning, personal growth, and well-being for students with moderate to profound intellectual disabilities, sensory and physical impairments, and autism spectrum disorder.
Commercial Office: Guide Dogs Victoria – Early Childhood Service
Guide Dogs Victoria’s Early Childhood Service supports children from birth to seven years of age to develop the confidence and skills they require to explore their world, communicate, learn and participate alongside their peers.
Essendon Office: Niddrie Autistic School
Niddrie Autistic School is dedicated to supporting each student as they move toward greater independence and success. Their approach is informed by individualised learning plans, developed collaboratively with parents and allied health professionals, with a strong emphasis on developing social communication skills, which are integrated into every aspect of the students’ daily experiences.
Fitzroy Office: Fitzroy Learning Network
Fitzroy Learning Network established in 1985, is a place where refugees, migrants, asylum seekers and those living on the public housing estates of inner Melbourne find support and where they can learn and connect. Their vision is to create an egalitarian society where everyone feels safe, included and empowered.
Flemington Office: Ascot Vale Heights School
The Ascot Vale Heights School is deeply passionate about preparing young people to reach their full potential and become active and engaged global learners. They want to be known for providing evidence-based learning for students with an intellectual disability that maximises the independence of each person in an innovative, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Head Office: Alannah & Madeline Foundation – Children Ahead
The Alannah & Madeline Foundation’s Children Ahead program supports children and young people aged 4–18 who have experienced complex trauma, particularly from exposure to family violence. Without early intervention, trauma can profoundly affect a child’s emotional wellbeing, learning potential, relationships, confidence, and long-term life opportunities. Children Ahead exists to break this cycle of trauma and create pathways to recovery, resilience, and hope.
Ivanhoe Office: The Austin School
The Austin School is located within the grounds of the Austin Hospital in Heidelberg. The school provides specialised educational services to young people, both inpatient and outpatient, who have significant emotional, physical and psychiatric problems. All students are patients of the Austin Health and/or Austin Infant Child and Youth Mental Health Service.
Keilor East Office: The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation – Children's Bioethics Centre – Empowering Young Voices
This program helps ensure children and young people have a genuine voice in decisions about their healthcare. It equips clinicians with practical tools and training to involve young patients in care planning, creating a more child-centred healthcare experience.
Kew Office: St Anne’s Primary School
St Anne’s is an inclusive school of diverse needs which has been providing exceptional educational services to the community for 95 years. The funds will be utilised to upgrade their playground to ensure their children, remain active, happy and healthy while supporting their social and cognitive development.
Northcote Office: Thornbury High School
Thornbury High School believes in every student’s right to an excellent education. Their aspiration is for all students to graduate with the skills, knowledge and confidence to go out into the world as resourceful, resilient young people, who can make a positive impact on their community and in the world. Foundation Day funds will be directed to assist those whose educational opportunities are limited by lack of family resources.
Pascoe Vale Office: Sussex Neighbourhood House
Sussex Neighbourhood House is a community hub located at the Pascoe Vale Community Centre committed to providing lifelong learning through social activities that are inclusive, accessible and sustainable for the local community. They offer a range of activities suitable for all ages and abilities.
Preston Office: VACCA – Strong and Deadly Boorais
The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is Victoria’s leading Aboriginal child and family services organisation. They focus on creating services, supports, policies and advocacy that deliver solutions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, now and in the future. The Strong and Deadly Boorais program supports Aboriginal children and young people in care by providing individual and tailored education support.
Reservoir Office: Raise Foundation – Reservoir High School
The Raise Foundation, believes every young person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. By providing 1:1 mentoring, Raise supports young people at a critical stage in their lives, helping them build confidence, connection and resilience before challenges become entrenched. Raise mentoring is proven to improve school engagement, wellbeing and future outcomes, whilst ensuring vulnerable young people have access to consistent support and positive role models.
