What we love about this home:

Ever since moving in 4 years ago we’ve made all sorts of small tweaks and adjustments that has really turned this townhouse into a home. It’s bright and airy and has a great use of space, but at the same time remains super easy to clean and doesn’t cost much to maintain. The AC unit is a beast and can keep the whole house comfortable at the lowest setting in summer or winter. We never hear any noise through neighbouring walls, and everything around the house is well-maintained or has been replaced. One of the best things about living here are our neighbours. Our block of 5 units are all owner-occupied by young professionals. We have a super friendly chat group that looks in on each other, collects parcels when someone’s away, takes out each other’s bins when someone forgets, and has a great interest in improving the block, especially the front garden.

What we love about the area:

Proximity and ease of access to so many things! Within 200 metres you’ve got three great cafés, with La Sirene and Hawkers breweries close by, plus cosy spots like The Merri, Rebel Rebel, Chumanchu and Stray Neighbour. High Street is packed with incredible food, and Preston Market, Coburg Market, Woolworths and Aldi make shopping easy and affordable. It’s a fantastic area to stay active too, with two lakes nearby and bike paths connecting to the Main Yarra Trail, Darebin Creek Trail and Merri Creek Trail. Coburg Olympic Pool is a favourite in summer.

There’s a real community feel, especially around Coburg Park Lake on weekends. The #11 tram runs straight to the city through Thornbury, Northcote and Fitzroy, and freeway access makes getting to the airport or out of town quick and simple.
